First off, the contest I mentioned in an earlier journal in the group
is coming to a close. I am really excited to go through the process of picking winners with my fellow judges! A lot of the entries really wowed me, the different interpretations of the theme were just phenomenal. We had many genre's and takes on what a "king" is.
Next! I became an admin in Writer's--Club as well! I am in charge of critiquing pieces by group members who submit to the critique folders. I have already looked over a few but look forward to reviewing more and more people's works.
Another thing I have decided upon is a way to go about writing something I have been working on for quite some time. I started writing my first real book in middle school. I was so proud of myself though it was horrible and riddled with mistakes and a grammatical nightmare. That story line and every character in it are things that I have held close to me every moment in my life, but the story has always jumped around so much that I haven't been able to return and give it any of its deserved glory. I have decided that I want to at least try to restore this series so I am going to be coming out with what I am calling a collection. Each week I will be posting a part of the work in progress. They will be fairly short and, as I said before, they may jump around. But they will be updated every Thursday. I will probably begin this week (tomorrow) or next.
Last order of bussiness! X and Y come out next weekend and I am SUPER excited. I am going to be started a journal update every day from the games release just to randomly talk about it. This journal will continue until I either beat the game or feel like there is nothing to update on! <3
